• Birth data — your date of birth, time of birth, and place of birth, used to generate astrological charts and readings.
• Chat content — your conversations with the AI astrologer, used to provide personalized responses within your session.

How We Use Your Data

Your data is used solely to provide the AstrolifeAI service:

• Birth data is used to calculate your astrological birth chart and generate personalized readings.
• Chat history is used to provide context for your AI astrologer conversations.
• Email is used for account authentication and important service communications.

We do not sell, share, or use your data for advertising purposes.

Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored in a secured PostgreSQL database. Passwords are hashed using bcrypt and are never stored in plain text. All connections to AstrolifeAI are encrypted via HTTPS.

Third-Party Services

We use third-party AI providers (OpenAI and Anthropic) to power the AI astrologer. Your chat messages and birth chart data may be sent to these providers to generate responses. These providers process data according to their own privacy policies and do not use your data for model training under our agreements.

Data Retention

Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. Chat history and birth chart data are kept to provide a continuous experience across sessions.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access — request a copy of the data we hold about you.
• Deletion — request that we delete your account and all associated data.
• Correction — update or correct your birth data and account information at any time through the app.
